March Visits

It appears that winter is never going to end this year, so we decided to go on a couple of trips to get away from the cold. It was a little warmer at our son's home, so we stayed a few days. Here are a few pictures of our girls!
Grandpa's lap was cozy in the morning. Someone isn't quite awake here (and it's not grandpa).
Here's our second little cutie. We hadn't seen her for quite a while. She sits so well, and can reach almost everything she wants. If she can't reach it, she roles for it!

Here's the whole family, just before we went out for dinner to celebrate Dad's birthday. It was a treat to be there for his birthday - that hasn't happened for a few years.

The Easter "bunnies". Someone's dollar store ear didn't last too long!

Here we are using all our creative energy to make Dad a birthday card. This girl has stickers!

Another picture of this happy little girl. She loves to giggle, and to taste everything.

The snow was perfect for making a snowman. Each day, we watched him sag, until finally he disappeared completely. Note the cucumber eyes!

This girl is ready to shop! I love this hat.

And after shopping - soothing those tired feet in a warm bath! Both girls love the bathtub.

Auntie came to meet the youngest one, and to supervise the shopping (her area of expertise).

We read lots of stories, especially ones about Dora. She also liked the ABC book and the counting book we brought.

We dropped Grandpa off to go visit friends in Florida. Here he is with his sister, a Florida resident.

The resto of the time he spent golfing, watching baseball, and boating with the two captains below.

So now we are almost into April. The snow is melting slowly here, but the sun is shining, so we have hope that Spring is on the way. We'll visit again in the summer, and have sleepovers in the camper!
