Not too much has happened since Easter. The snowbirds have returned, the grass is raked due to a very dry warm April, and everyone and everything is growing. Here are the two we use as measuring sticks for how much things are growing. Above, the boy pretending to be a baby. While his sister was (reluctantly) taking a bottle, he decided he wanted one too. He went to a drawer, found the cookie decorator, and transformed it into a "bottle". Quite ingenious, I thought, but then, all my grandchildren are gifted!
The girl being set up to receive the wrath of her older brother. Here she has not only his Cheerios book (which he loves) but also his flashlight (used to play the never-ending game of "Where's the puppy?"). He was napping, so she got away with chewing on his favourite toys!
Sitting up all by herself - what a happy girl (as long as grandma isn't trying to give her a bottle! Where is my mom anyway?)
Two of our 4 1/2 favourite people!
