Recent visits
Now that things are somewhat back to normal around this house, we have been able to have some grandchildren over for visits, some even "sans parents". Our newest one stayed the night recently (yes, his mother was there for the very early morning feeding). Unlike his closest in age female cousin, he did not mind the bottle at all. Maybe it was because it was Grandpa holding the bottle.
Oldest grandson has been over a couple of times. On one of those recent visits, we found the book of puzzle maps, which intrigued him. He knew that his friend from school was in India, and that another older friend is from The Philipines. He has quite a bit of knowledge for a kid who likes to wear his shirt on his head!
This happy girl had her very first sleepover at G and Gs. I don't know how she got to be so old without every having spent a night here, but it was a very successful sleepover. She loved watching cartoons and eating Cheerios in G and G's bed in the morning (something her brother thinks is part of staying over here, which it is).
Next week the two out of town girls will be here for a few days, with their parents. We are so lucky!
