So...what to do for our 37th anniversary? Most of our previous 36 anniversaries had been spent in a tent or tent trailer somewhere (actually that's not true- we usually had a "hotel night" that night. Our kids will remember Harold Flynn and peanut butter and jelly room service in Little Rock Arkansas). For this anniversary we decided to do something we had never done before - ziplining! And since there is a brand new just-opened place in our province to zipline - we decided to check it out.
This is the "bunny run" - the first line, where you are attached front and back so that you can get the feel of zipping. From there we climbed a steep climb to the other four lines.
Find something about which you are passionate, and then live your life showing it.

Surprise Visitor
So...not sure you can see this too well, but it's a raccoon! One morning while returning from the Y we looked up into the corners of the garage, and there it was! After consulting with neighbours and calling for information, we were advised just to leave the garage door open and it would leave, which it did. I think it decided that it was safer to find a quieter spot, as we had banged on walls, removed bits of downspout one piece at a time, and generally made it quite an uncomfortable spot. We haven't seen it since, so I think it has gone back to the golf course or wherever it normally lives.

Swimming on a chilly day!
So...Grandma drove out to see the boy in the local (outdoor) pool for his "swimming" lesson. It was a chilly walk in the wagon to the pool, and an even more chilly "lesson". Here he is with his mom singing "Wheels on the Bus" or "Ring Around the Rosy" or something like that! It looks much warmer than it really was.
This one was taken before he got too wet. Note the trendy outfit! Good thing he had that shirt on to protect him from all the rays! He must have liked it, though, because he didn't complain at all.

After 30 minutes, both boy and mom emerged shivering, and were happy to get into a hot shower and dry clothes. Grandma was happy to stay dry and take pictures!
