Zipping into our 38th year together

So...what to do for our 37th anniversary? Most of our previous 36 anniversaries had been spent in a tent or tent trailer somewhere (actually that's not true- we usually had a "hotel night" that night. Our kids will remember Harold Flynn and peanut butter and jelly room service in Little Rock Arkansas). For this anniversary we decided to do something we had never done before - ziplining! And since there is a brand new just-opened place in our province to zipline - we decided to check it out.

This is the "bunny run" - the first line, where you are attached front and back so that you can get the feel of zipping. From there we climbed a steep climb to the other four lines.

The beautiful Pembina Valley - a natural place to zip! Hyline Adventures took the Brown family five years to build, and just opened May 1st.

Gear on and ready to zip!
Three videos follow. One is me getting my gear checked before take-off. The other two are Ross leaving one platform and arriving at the next. Watch the dot in the distance and see him appear!
