I have been home from the hospital just over a week, and have been overwhelmed by the gifts of food, treats, books, movies and flowers that have appeared each day. I thought that those of you who sent flowers and who live far away might like to see what you sent. All are beautiful, and the scent in the living room is overwhelming, just like the conservatory in the springtime. I didn't publish pictures of the meals because many of them have been eaten, but please know how much we both appreciate receiving them. They have made mealtime so easy-it's just a matter of deciding what to take out of the freezer!
These roses arrived individually and in their separate vases ( I so appreciate everyone's senses of humour!), but they make a nice group when placed together.
From the English relatives - many thanks!
Each day is better than the last. I am almost "staple free" - just 5 still to come out. I am sleeping well (and lots) and am in very little pain. Hopefully I will begin to get out a bit in the next week or two, so will be able to see some of you in places other than my living room. Thank you all for all your love, prayers and support.

It's nice to be able to do something to help YOU for a change! You have done so much for all of us during difficult times in our life...just so glad I can repay even a small amount of what you have done. It's like you say "when I don't know what to do to help, I cook!" I definitely get that from you :)
I couldn't agree more. As I was doing some cooking and baking to bring over, I couldn't help but think of the MANY things that you brought over when both the kids were born. We SO appreciate everything you do for us, and are so thankful that we can return the favour in this small way! We love you!
